Hi, my name is Fran Lorente! In this page, you will find some information about me: what do I do for a living, where do I work and where can you find me in this enourmous place called the Internet. Check it out!
Ever since I was a child, I have been curious, restless and shy, and thus I have always enjoyed discovering new worlds in music, TV series, videogames or movies. Soon, I found out that there was a huge range of stories for me to enjoy if I learned other languages.
When I was sixteen, I understood that as a translator, I could tear down the linguistic wall that prevented other people from enjoying all those stories that I liked so much, and so I started carrying on my first fansubbing projects. Thanks to these, I decided to start studying a Translation and Interpreting degree.
Besides that, I consider myself a professional multimedia eater. TV series, music, movies… I love it all! I could also spend a thousand hours petting my dog’s tummy without getting tired. However, I spend most of my free time playing videogames.
My passion for videogames settled down when I was a kid, and it has been evolving with me as I have been growing up, although my favourite genres have always been the same: rol playing games and story-driven adventure games. This hobby lead my to start a YouTube channel where I upload my fansubs. Thanks to this, I also learnt a lot about graphic design and video editing, using software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro. Later on, I decided to start writing, trying to create my own website. However, I gave up that idea and joined the team of FFSPAIN, a community website where I covered news and managed social networks.
